Trackstack brings a bit of physical into the virtual world. We all know about motion gaming. Now we have motion record shopping on board! Trackstack has brought back crate digging for iOS with a new app that can access store collections and bring them right to your fingertips.
It simulates the experience of physical “crate-digging” by allowing users to swipe through the catalogue of Beatport, an electronic music retailer.
A product description reads: “Trackstack’s unique design emulates a traditional crate digging motion using a vertical swipe gesture, making exploring and sorting through tracks quicker and more productive. Trackstack’s time-saving features makes it easy to sort through releases, charts and assorted tracks from your favourite music retailers.” The app currently only supports the Beatport catalog, but promises increased functionality coming soon.
