Michael Jackson Sells In Death Too

Here’s something of the macabre sort; an auction house in Los Angeles has taken it upon themselves to dispose of things in Michael Jackson’s rented home in Holmby Hills, where he lived with his family while he prepared for a series of comeback tours.

The auctioned items will include, amongst other things, the bed the star died in. There will also be personal items, like artwork and furnishings,  going up on scale. There are also items from the ‘medication room’ on the catalogue, smeared with his make up, and a chalkboard, with a message from one of his children; I (heart) Daddy. SMILE, it’s for free.

The deathbed is still believed to be the piece de resistance, with bidding expected to start upwards of $5000. That could make it one of the costliest ways to mourn anybody’s death.

This, right here, makes for a more meaningful remembrance;
