Good news for Gleeks everywhere! The Glee 3D concert movie is releasing on August 12th and will be in theatres for just two weeks. What can you expect? We found out.
The Glee television series has taken the world by storm, bringing the experience of a contemporary musical to TV audiences world over. The film Glee Live! 3D! will showcase the upcoming ‘Glee Concert Tour’ for those who miss it live. The movie will capture the shows as well as backstage moments and star 14 cast members from the television series.
What to expect
1. Kevin Tanchaeron of Mortal Kombat: Legacy fame is going to be
directing the movie.
2. Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison have not been announced as part of the cast.
3. Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, says it was made so fans or Gleeks who are unable to see the concert could experience the show in the “immersive 3D experience.”
4. The muscial numbers are a wide range, from Britney Spears’ I’m a Slave 4 U, Pink’s Raise Your Glass, Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream to the Journey anthem Don’t Stop Believin’.
5. Though the film is scheduled to run only for two weeks, which maybe extended based on the response.
