“Some people think music education is a privilege, but I think it’s essential to being human.” -Jewel.

Two musical souls began their individual music education paths in 2005. The year 2010 saw these two independent entities’ paths cross to create their school’s first avatar, ‘Muzicworkz.’ They then segued into the separate identities of ‘Samantha’ and ‘Do-Re-Me School of Music.’

But Chet Atkins did once say, “Do it again on the next verse, and people think you mean it.” So, what continued as two distinctly planted seeds in 2010, once again grew together in 2018 into one wholesome music education tree called the Scattitude Academy of Music.

‘Scattitude’ is a name that has a modern, albeit rich etymology and is a symbiosis of three fundamentals that fit this music institution’s ethos.

Nestled on the rather busy Hill Road of Mumbai’s queen suburb Bandra, the Scattitude Academy of Music reflects its neighbourhood in its potpourri of programmes, the full-bodied nature of its curriculum, the versatility of its educators and partners, a rich history of teaching experience, and a dynamic face that is inclusive of and serves the ever-changing global music and entertainment industry and community.

Along with their education partners, the academy offers exam-oriented syllabi in Western Contemporary Vocals, Piano & Keys, Music Theory, Music Production, and the Guitar and constantly works toward upskilling itself on new educational and career initiatives.
