After Lady Gaga’s show up as Jo Calderone at the 2011 MTV Music Awards, male alter egos seem to be in vogue for women looking to make a statement that goes beyond glamorous overalls.
Nicky Minaj’s fashionably gay alter state, Roman Zolanski, has promised a big comeback. Roman was introduced to the world on ‘Roman’s Revenge’, the first track from Minaj’s 2010 debut album, Pink Friday.
The promise from the flamboyant MC is that “Roman will be in rare form this time. You know why? Cuz he doesn’t give a fuck. He realized that his core matters the most. Everyone else will figure it the fuck out. He can no longer be censored. That’s not Lewinsky on a$$. It’s Roman”; which, we believe, was a reference to Big Sean’s ‘Dance A$$’ track.
So when does Roman get here? In about two weeks, according to Nicky Minaj’s detailed blogpost – after he’s done with his stint at boarding school. He’ll address the nation, but in the form of music, which would presumably make up her follow up album to last year’s Pink Friday.

Seriously how bad can a male version of THAT be? Shudder.
