Madonna couldn’t believe it either, as a demo version of the lead single from her upcoming album, Give Me All Your Love, hit the internet on November 8th; about 3 months too soon.
The final version of the song was meant to be premiered at the Super Bowl XVI in Indianapolis in February, where Madge was to take the stage with featured guests, Nicki Minaj and Mya, to perform the song.
That plan will probably still go ahead, though Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, took to his Twitter account to vent their collective frustration at the failure to keep the wraps on. “We’re asking the fans to help us police any more leaks. We have a lot in store for you. But please respect the process”, he appealed, adding that his superstar client believed “real fans wouldn’t do this”.
The disillusionment has a flipside though, since the sneak peek has managed to generate some sort of popular hype around the song, and by extension, the album. Even Oseary took him time out in his tweeted admonition to acknowledge that “I’m very happy with the positive reaction to the demo”, before suiting up and condemning the leak once more, for good measure.
It even got a “YAY MADGE!!!” from Kylie Minogue.
