Twinkle Twinkle Little Rockstar have gone and lullaby-ed Iron Maiden, to ease your li’l one to sleep. Lullaby-ed isn’t a word, but we’re just about as blindsided by the concept that is Twinkle Twinkle Little Rockstar to begin with.
They’re actually a music label, dedicated to creating lullaby versions of popular songs, with music as diverse in range as Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Rush. Thankfully for you, who might be eyeing the Iron Maiden tribute album, this isn’t Twinkle Twinkle’s first shot at metal.
They’ve previously done lullaby covers of Metallica and Motley Crue, so they’ve probably got the hang of soft shredding and gentle head rocking, that would presumably go into making a worthy Metal Lullaby.
Lullaby Versions of Iron Maiden contains lullaby covers of most Iron Maiden classics, like ‘Run To The Hills’, ‘2 minutes to Midnight’ and ‘Fear Of The Dark’.
Somehow, it doesn’t seem like the usual lullaby fodder, but at long last, we at least have a cooler alternative to bedtime stories. But only once you get the album off Amazon or iTunes.
