Bhangra pop star Daler Mehndi is all set to burn the dance floors with his new Bollywood track ‘Main Haryane Ka Sher’ from the upcoming movie Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi.
Supposedly, the track is a first-of-its-kind having a Hip-hop groove to Haryanvi lyrics. Director Rakesh Mehta wanted a different kind of music altogether and debutant music composer Vinay Jaiswal was chosen. While composing the track, Daler Mehndi was the only choice in Vinay’s mind. Daler heard the lyrics and gave a thumbs up to croon the song.
“Daler paaji has rocked the song, & I am getting impatient for people to hear it”, said Vinay.

Daler Mehndi recently delivered his first Haryanvi number Bawli Tared in his newest pop album Tunak Tunak Tumba.
He says, ”Main Haryane ka Sher has a fresh feel in hip-hop and Bhangra, apparently this is a first of its kind of a song having a Haranvi-hip hop groove to it and to top it all it’s a cop song with a lot of attitude.“
Daler has gone further and predicted that the song to be a super hit especially in the north Indian belt, as Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and parts of UP.
