Beyonce and Jay-Z finally welcomed their baby girl on Saturday. At seven pounds, Blue Ivy Carter was born the normal, peaceful way, and has caused a whole lot of joy in her first few days here.
While her aunt, Solange Knowles, talked about how her niece was the ‘most beautiful girl in the world’, the tweeters were also sent in a frenzy swapping chit-chat about the newest member of R&B royalty.
Most American morning shows covered this news story, though efforts were kept to keep the wraps on this most high profile of celebrity births at the Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. There were even reports of Beyonce and husband Jay-Z throwing temper tantrums at the lack of preparedness at the Hospital.
Anyway, baby Blue’s here, and we wish her a good life, as she’s cradled in some expensive arms.
