The most unusual combination of Grammy award winning musicians collaborate to form SuperHeavy – a five piece supergroup who will release their debut album this September.

What happens when an acclaimed bollywood composer , a Rolling Stone, a brit-pop star, a Soul queen & a Marley  have 20 minute jams in a garage? Epicness. Spending over 3 weeks together in Los Angeles, SuperHeavy (yes that’s the band name) have written 22 songs within the first week.

Featuring Joss Stone, Damian Marley, Mick Jagger, A.R Rahman and Dave Stewart, this motley collection of legends will be recording a video for their first single “Miracle Worker”.

It’s different from anything else I’ve ever been involved in“, Jagger told Rolling Stone last month. “The music is very wide-ranging – from reggae to ballads to Indian songs in Urdu.

We didn’t know what the hell we were doing“, added Stewart. “We were just jamming and making a noise. It was like when a band first starts up in your garage.
Sometimes Damien would kick it off and then Joss would sing something on top of it. We might have a 22 minute jam, and it would become a six minute song.

A.R Rahman composed an Urdu song “Satyameva Jayate” which features Jagger singing in Urdu!
