Staccato is an experimental band that collaborates and absorbs musical traditions from all over the world and fuses interesting arrangements from film music to make beautiful melodies that cater to all tastes.

All hailing from completely different cultural and musical backgrounds, the band members are –

Sruthi Sagar (Flute),Vikram Sarathy (Keyboards), Bala (Percussion), Praveen (Mirdangam), Manoj (Violin), Shallu (Bass), Sabharish (Guitars), Yeshwanth (Keyboards), and Ellavarasan (Drums)

Male singers- Madhana Gopal, Gowtham Bharadwaj,

Female singers- Vandana Srinivasan, Keerthana JB, Meenu Saba and Keerthana Sivaram

The band draws extensive influence from all over the globe right from Jazz and Blues to traditional Carnatic, Nigerian street drumming to the Arabian belly dance, Indian light music to Bach and more.

Staccato creates a unique sound of incredible texture and intensity with innovative arrangements and classy rendition of beautiful movie melodies whilst integrating more and more forms of music into their performance.
