On a less cocky note, FGTF released their album to much fanfare this weekend at the Egmore Museum Theatre. With an impressive turn out of young and old, they brought the house down with power packed performances of tracks that feature on their debut album.
Fans (a huge chunk from Don Bosco) cheered the boys on & despite a 2-minute power cut in between, the show lost no steam! The band was in full throttle with their signature costumes & high-octane sound.
Franks Got The Funk is an alternative band that has Bjorn Surrao on the vocals, Vikram Ashok on keys, Sajith Satya on bass, Rajan Chelliah on guitars & Shashank Vijay on the drums. They have been popular in the college circuit for a couple of years now; most famous for winning NxG Rockstar 2011 .
The album has been in works for months and the band profusely thanked their parents & seasoned musician Toby Joseph among others.
