There can hardly be anything more sensational than the sighted ghost of a musician. Not that we can start looking forward to career revivals, but it at least makes good on all their promises of immortality. There might even be organised tours of each deceased musician’s favoured haunts soon, so to speak, depending how sociable they feel in that dimension.
Quite like how Jim Morrison’s gravesite at Pere Lachaise in Paris is a must for a touring Morrison fan, or Clear Lake in Iowa for a Buddy Holly fan. Or, if you’re a cynic, you can just lay back and sample the thrill of these out-of-the-world speculations. But, don’t you laugh.
