About Wiz Khalifa
The See You Again, Black and Yellow, Payphone and Young, Wild & Free hit maker is an anomaly in hip-hop these days. The Pittsburgh MC has managed to reinvent himself within the music industry over the course of his 12 year professional chart—a feat that takes most artists decades to accomplish. The Atlantic Records signee has dropped a total of six solo albums (three of which have gone gold or platinum), has multi-platinum singles to his name and has even broken YouTube records thanks to the Charlie Puth-assisted track “See You Again” off the Furious 7 soundtrack. He’s also come to be known for many things even outside of the rap world. His fashion-forward, high-end style sets trends on red carpets and his rock star attitude has worked in his favor when it comes to broadening his fan base. To date, the Taylor Gang leader has collaborated with acts like The Weeknd, Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy and more. The industrious rapper owns his own record label. As the world’s busiest rapper, Khalifa is evidence that passion and dedication can get you anywhere you want to be.
Contemporary hip-hop’s reigning king, the 29 year old Wiz Khalifa states, “Hey India, I’m really excited for my debut performance in India. I can’t wait to meet all my Indian fans at Time Out 72 this December in Goa.”
