Pussycat Dolls Version 2

Rebirths are always good news. Especially when it’s a pop group that drew on burlesque song and dance routines, demonstrated by five –or 6, or any number you can imagine – extremely lithe women showing you the way. (Pictured: The Kreatorrr – Robin Antin)

Perez Hilton’s recent blog posts fueling rumours of a Pussycat Dolls reformation has definitely let that particular cat out of the bag, so to speak. But hardly all the way, as Pussycat Mentor, Robin Antin, came out to clear doubts about selecting the newest iteration of her memorable girlie entourage. “It’s official that I’m doing a new group of Pussycat Dolls. But the only reason I can’t talk individually about the girls is because of the contracts”, says the showstar, who has had her Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Revue on show stages for years.

The picture Hilton posted on his blog had six posing women, though Antin admits that the number is far from certain. “I’ve been going back and forth. It could really go back to five”, hinted Antin, which means that one of the luscious ones in the photograph might not make it.

The women pictured included Lauren Bennett, the featured singer of LMFAO’s smash hit single ‘Party Rock Anthem’ and ex-LA Lakers girl, Vanessa Curry, who’ve been both part of Antin’s Burlesque Revue for several years. Then, there’s Kristal Smith, Kia Hampton, Tiffany Zavala, and another one from the Burlesque show routines, Paula Van Oppen, who’s been a lot more low key than Bennett and Curry in promotional appearances.

It’s all to look forward to.
