Pink Floyd, the pioneers of psychedelic rock who have inspired musicians world over and etched their music into the minds of millions, reunited in O2 Arena at London yesterday. The sold out performance, saw David Gilmour and Nick Mason join Roger Waters‘ Wall Tour. The trio performed Comfortably Numb and Outside The Wall as the finale while the crowd went insane.The official fan blog confirms that Gilmour will not join the Wall Tour for a performance again.
Who can get enough of Pink Floyd? The band has announced that all 14 studio albums are going to be remastered and released under the banner “Why Pink Floyd…?” this September. It is going to include previously unheard material including a version of the album title track Wish You Were Here featuring jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli according to The Guardian. We can’t wait to get our hands on them!
