The Spinifex Orchestra from Netherlands will be in Bangalore, to collaborate with Veena prima donna, Dr Suma Sudhindra, where they’ll fabricate their own mural of classical fusion.
The performance – scheduled to be held at the Alliance Française De Bangalore – is an endeavour also supported by AIM.
The Spinifex Orchestra, who represent the cream of Dutch jazz outfits, have often been compared with the broad sounds that were Charles Mingus’ trademark. This, superposed over Dr Sudhindra’s definitive Veena tunes, should make for a fascinating evening of music.
