Sonu Nigam to sing in Malayalam

Sonu Nigam‘s fans in Kerala have a lot to be happy about as he is all set to sing in the language of God’s own country, Malayalam.


 After trying singing in punjabi, bengali, marathi, tamil, telugu and kannada, famous hindi singer Sonu Nigam is excited to be singing in the malayalam movie 1993 Bombay March 12. This movie has already gained popularity due to its name and the fact that actor Mammootty will be doing the lead role.

The movie has 5 songs sung by different artists like Kailash Kher, Sadhana Sargam, Usha Uthup and Ganesh Somasudaram. Sonu Nigam has sung a song called ‘Chakkaramavin Kombath’ from the movie, this song was written by Rafeeq Ahmed and composed by Afzal Yousuf.

 In a recent interview with Times of India Sonu said “Its a pleasure to be able to sing in malayalam. It adds another feather to my cap.”  All his fans in Kerala have something to look forward to!
