The Grapevine is all aflutter with little birdies tweeting about a Black Sabbath Reunion.
Ozzy Osbourne’s children, Jack and Kelly have hinted at the release of a new studio album by Black Sabbath. No news yet on the number of decapitated bats this involves.
Kelly Osbourne has been dropping tantalising hints hinting about his dad’s, “Exciting new project” which has sparked off massive speculation about a new Sabbath Album. If released, this will be Ozzy’s first album with Black Sabbath, since 1978’s Never Say Die.
Right after independence day, guitarist Tommy Iommi said,
“We’re really looking forward to it and I think the stuff we’ve been writing is really good. It’s more back to the old original stuff. It’s all been very hush-hush. Ozzy’s been the worst at trying to hold it back. He’s doing a lot of TV and he’s being asked stuff about a reunion and he’s going ‘Well, I never say never’. He told me, ‘I don’t know what to say’.’’
After which everybody’s ears in a five mile radius started bleeding spontaneously out of his sheer presence.
Ozzy Osbourne too, has refused to deny any claims of a new studio album. But then, nobody really understands what the man is mumbling anymore.
Fingers crossed for the reunion of the Wizard of Ozz with his band. But really, after The Osbournes, the only way to go is up.
