Rock is not evil, Prosecutors are. 


Here is something for you to throw in the face of the next person who comes by denigrating rock ‘n’ roll as evil. It never felt evil, it never looked evil and if the story of the West Memphis Three is anything to go by, unless you happen to be a pigeon on stage at a bad time, rockers don’t act evil either.  

Fyi, West Memphis Three were three young boys who were falsely convicted of killing three eight year old Cub Scouts in 1993, near the Arkansas creek. The clinching evidence for their conviction was the teenagers’ choice of music, which included Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne and more incriminatingly, their love of Stephen Hawking’s writings. That was enough to convince prosecutors of a murder plot that was part of a larger satanic cult ritual. Thus, Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley Jr. ended up spending the best part of their youth in prison on trumped up charges, till their rock demi gods decided to take up the cudgels on their behalf.
