Renowned musician Anil Mohile is no more

Renowned music arranger Anil Mohile, 71, passed away at his Mumbai residence on Wednesday morning.

His sudden demise was due to a massive heart attack that he suffered around 2.30 am on Wednesday, February 1. He breathed his last shortly afterwards.

Anil Mohile is survived by his wife, a daughter and son Amar Mohile


Mohile arranged music for around 85 Hindi and Marathi movies, including Amitabh Bachchan starrers like Sharaabi and Don. Son Amar followed in his father’s footsteps in the music industry, arranging the music for the recent blockbuster, Singham.

Anil Mohile also arranged the music and orchestra for various stage shows in national and international concerts for notable singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle and others.
