Rebecca Black’s Moment

14 year old Rebecca Black became a YouTube sensation when her debut single ‘Friday‘ went on to hit over 160 million views. On 18 July, 2011 she released the video to her second single titled ‘My moment’. How well did it do?

Rebecca Black has taken over from Justin Bieber as the artist everyone loves to hate. Her debut music video ‘Friday’ went viral and in under 3 months hit 160 million views.

Yesterday she released her latest single ‘My Moment’, which is also a part of a 5 song EP thats coming out later in August.

The new song sees her have a dig at the critics of Friday, with her singing: “Weren’t you the one who said I would be nothing. But I’m about to prove you wrong.”

Frankly, I don’t think she’s proving anyone wrong.

The lyrics seem very cheesey, and auto-tune has once again found it’s place here. The song might not be as bad as Friday, but then again that’s not saying much at all.
