Opeth’s Martin Mendez Gives Score A Shout Out!

[youtube_video id=tJsrOhVjg1Y]
In lieu of tomorrow’s Summerstorm performance, Opeth posed for the shutterbugs & got interactive at the Hard Rock Café, Bangalore earlier today!

Martin Mendéz is the second most constant member of Swedish metal act, Opeth. It was with the album Still Life (1999) that he got on board and ever since, has wreaked havoc with his 4 string fretted & fretless Fender Jazz bass. He is known to come alive in espagnol during the South American legs of their tours!

In the video above, he talks about the direction of Opeth’s music, surviving the metal scene in Sweden (where prog metal bands seem to sprout every waking moment), onstage antics & invites ALL YOU GUYS (SCORE-ERZ!), for tomo’s show! m/
