Nikitaa’s acoustic rendition of Goddess is a peppy, self-empowering anthem: Score Indie Reviews

Singer-songwriter-musician Nikitaa feels like a pretty bold, self-confident person as is evident from her music which she says falls under the genre of “Goddess Pop”. This inclination towards being a goddess was present in her single Goddess that dropped a month back.

Now, the singer is back with a slightly less electronic and a more stripped-down acoustic version of the same song. This time, Nikitaa handles it all from singing to producing to mixing and mastering the song herself.

While the production and the lyrics aren’t out of the box, the song makes
for a good, uplifting anthem for those listeners who are looking for some
self-empowerment. What’s to note in Goddess (Acoustic) is the way Nikitaa stretches her voice with the wavy, phased-out vocals of the song. Her vocal prowess is accelerated towards the outro when she stresses on a single syllable “yeah” over and over again, proudly showing off her bold, enthralling voice.

Verdict: Nikitaa turns into a bold, divine goddess in a track that’s written,
sung, produced, mixed by her even though it’s her voice that takes the
lead.
