Tell us about your band

I am JVNR from Seoul, Korea . might be hard to read but it`s ‘Juner’ to pronounce . I play electronica, dream pop, synth pop, live electronics and am the leader, Gt/Vox in the band called WHOwho, but this time I am touring by myself alone.

Currently, I`m  in Taiwan, the beginning of my long journey. I’m planning 8-12 months tour this time. I’ll write new tracks inspired from each City and the people around the world.

Have you been to India before? What do you think about the Indian music scene?

It`s my 4th time visiting India. First time, it was in 2009 for 2 months when I spent my time there, and fell in love with the country. Next in 2014, with the band called ‘Postpanic’, I played guitar for their show at New wave Festival and now I am coming again to play at New Wave Festival again! I am so excited. and this time again after the festival I`m gonna stay 2 more weeks there. India is so inspiring .

Is there any musician/ band you would like to collaborate with in India?

I really do wanna do something with Indian traditional Instruments, I already have some instruments but still, I`ll never play as good as real Indian musicians.

Anything exciting planned for your concert in India?

With the band called ‘Ooberfuse’ from UK, we might play a song together on the stage. They are good friends of mine and I can’t wait to play with them on the stage.

What would you like to say to people in India?

I am very excited to visit India again and look forward to be a part of the New Wave Festival. Mumbai & Goa are my favorite Cities in India! Can’t wait to see you guys and share the music and culture. See you there!
