Music Production Lessons From Prashant Pillai

Yes, you read it right.

Prashant is organizing a free one-day music workshop in Bangalore, Trivandrum, Chennai and Pune through the month of January. These workshops will be a much awaited eye-opener for all those who wish to make a mark in the music industry, but are uncertain about how to get started or how they can make a rewarding career in the many emerging branches of this business. 

The six-hour intensive workshops are designed to introduce the existing and future avenues in the field of music and music production for aspiring musicians, singers and other artists across the country.

“There are thousands of budding musicians, singers, artists and sound engineers spread across the country who want to make a successful career in music, but a lot of doubts and uncertainties hold them back. Through these workshops, I wish to give back from I’ve learnt about music and its business. I’m also looking forward to collaborate with a lot of new artists to work with in the near future.” says Prashant.

The scheduled dates are:

Bangalore         between Jan 6 – 8
Chennai           between Jan 13 – 15
Trivandrum       between Jan 21 – 22
Pune               between Jan 28 – 29

ABOUT PRASHANT PILLAI 

Music Producer Prashant Pillai produces and scores music for films, short films, and corporate films including jingles, commercials, signature tunes and sonic branding. Prashant has been in the media industry since the past decade, and has founded the media and entertainment company “Madras Blues”.He has worked with A.R.Rahman, Bejoy Nambiar, Lijo Jose Pelliserry and Sanjay Singh amongst others.

His works are spread across movies in Bollywood, the Malayalam film industry and also the upcoming Hollywood productions. Known to collaborate with new artists he launched a non-genre specific music band – Groove Loves Company in 2011. His music style has diverse influences and elements of jazz, electronica, funk, world music and more.
