We wish Micky Dolenz of the Monkees fame, a very Happy Birthday and dedicate the classic Monkees single ‘I’m a believer’ to all the women around on this International Women’s day!
Micky Dolenz was intially cast in the sitcom, The Monkees and eventually went on to become the drummer and the lead vocalist of the band in the sitcom.
His voice had a distinctive edge to it, which somehow gave the band it’s eccentric sound. One of his best known songs is ‘I’m a believer‘, which has been used in multiple sitcoms and movies and is one hell of a catchy song.
