American singer Katy Perry is wide awake to the predicaments of others in her game. And so she is quite literally taking matters into her own hands by launching her own music label.

The American singer has sold 3.7 million albums and has 11 Billboard Top 10 singles. She has been with EMI’s Capitol Records since 2007. Moreover, she will be releasing her concert film ‘Katy Perry: Part Of Me: on July 5.
In the past, other famous pop singers like Madonna, Prince and Frank Sinatra have rolled out their own records.
