Fusion band Kailasa will be performing in 20 cities as part of their World Tour, kicking off April 2012. The line up will include performing from films as well as their upcoming album ‘Kailasa Rangeele’.
This comes as an initiative by the events division of Sa Re Ga Ma to popularize Indian music globally. The label will be signing 5 more upcoming Indian artistes in the coming months as part of this venture.
Kailash Kher and brothers Naresh and Paresh Kamath, will hit Europe and tour Holland, Liverpool, Birminham and London, before moving to Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, Chicago, San Francesco, Seattle and Los Angeles in the US. The Kailasa tour will culminate in Canada.
Kailasa first emerged in 2005. Their musical style fuses traditional folk lyrics with Sufi & rock and demands elaborate musical arrangement – thus expect cameos from maestros of the Mandolin, Sarangi, Santoor, Dholak, Harmonium among others!
