Its been a tense week for Foo Fighters fans after there has been speculation about them breaking up the last week. Their tweet said that there would be an “official announcement”, following which a Page Six report talked about “tension” between bandmates Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins.
But the band cleverly put all rumours to rest by releasing an “Official Band Announcement” on Wednesday. The seven-minute video teases around with the rumours by actually showing David Grohl singing solo and his bandmates considering other singers for the band.
The video culminates, though with the real announcement: “For the millionth time we’re not breaking up. And nobody’s going fucking solo!”
The solo Dave Grohl at the Oscars and the tweets really had gotten the fans nervous.
