Bon Jovi laid the rumours of his death to rest, by uploading a photo of him on Facebook, holding a sign saying “Heaven Looks a lot like New Jersey”
A false report on “dailynewbloginternational” claiming that Jon Bon Jovi died in New Jersey during a world tour, caused panic to spread among his die-hard fans.
The report appears to have been copied from the 2009 Los Angeles Times article that announced Michael Jackson’s death, with some changed lines here and there.
The author of the controversial article, later, issued a public apology stating that Bon Jovi was still alive and was sorry if anyone “got mad”. He also squeezed in a request edgewise, for him to come to Japan for a concert.
Bon Jovi is not only well and alive, but working his way through the world with his band in a blaze of glory. The band along with Foo Fighters and Blink 182, will headline Bamboozle, one of East Coast’s largest and oldest music festivals.
The story, however false, proved that Jon Bon Jovi is still “Wanted dead or alive”.
