Award winning band Rosemary disappoints with debut album

Score_pic

Rosemary, the three piece alternative rock/post grunge band from Mumbai, is releasing their first album A Legacy of Ruined Days today after being in the scene for four years now and achieving critical acclaim. How is it like? Here is our quick take.

Rosemary started out by playing extensively in the college circuit nearly 4 years back. They went to much bigger things, eventually winning the Best Emerging Band Award at the Jack Daniel Rock Awards. Riding on this wave of success,  they have now come out with their first album titled A Legacy of Ruined Days.

Score’s 5 point quick take:

Our favourite track
Sapphire Constellation

The Highlight
They have a fresh sound and there aren’t too many grunge Indian bands recording right now.

The Let down
Lack of maturity and a professional sound

The Last Stand
Improved songwriting, but not nearly excellent.

The Score Score
3/5.

Listen to their album on NH7.
