Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy | Vignesh Kumar | Shweta Gai – Nee Aruge: Score Indie Reviews

Reviewer Rating:

Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy is an Indian film composer and music producer. He graduated from Full Sail University, Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recording Arts and made his debut in the Tamil film, Vidhi Madhi Ultaa. After working on dozens of short films with multiple festival nominations abroad, Ashwin ventured into music for feature films. He also writes and produces songs for bands and artists around the globe. He owns and produces out of Shimmr Studios, Chennai. We are reviewing his latest track “Nee Aruge” here.

“Nee Aruge” is a breezy, love duet composed by Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy, with lyrics from Suthan Bala. This super laid-back song has been performed by Kausthub Ravi and Kamalaja. It is about a couple in love – about how they complement each other, through the good and the bad, and having each other by their side is all they would need.

When we think of a love song, a certain type of ditty probably comes to mind: something slow, saccharine and sappy. Well, “Nee Aruge” proves that all romantic tunes don’t have to exist within a rigid stereotype and despite being yet another song about love, it can truly stand on its own, creating its own distinct space within the crowd. “Nee Aruge” is a beautiful song that will be the perfect accompaniment on romantic drives, while chilling by the beach or with a cup of coffee, flanked by your significant other in bed.

The track has been recorded by Sivanesh Natarajan at Shimmr Studios, Chennai. It has been mixed by Sivanesh Natarajan & Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy at Shimmr Studios, Chennai and mastered by Dave Collins at Dave Collins Mastering, Los Angeles.

Having successfully mined through his impressive compositional skills, Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy has delivered another work of truly great merit. “Nee Aruge” is a well-crafted and beautifully performed track that provides a compelling argument for him to gain even wider recognition.

Verdict: Blissful and Breezy.
