In a first-of-its-kind association, TSM collaborates with Harman Professional India

Mumbai-based True School of Music (TSM), who boast of nurturing special talent and in the process assist their students to embrace an illustrious career in music, have now collaborated with Harman Professional India for their Pro Sound Course.

Over the years, TSM founded by Ashutosh Phatak and Nitin Chandy has worked with industry greats such as Shubha Mudgal, Shankar Mahadevan, Salim Merchant, Ranjit Barot and many more. Their latest association with Harman Professional India only promises to provide the very best for its students. Formerly known as Pro Sound Course, the new course certified by Harman Professional India will include modules based on networked audio and wireless technology subjects.

Harman Professional India, with a portfolio of legendary audio brands such as AKG, AMX, BSS, Crown, Dbx, Digitech, JBL Professional, Lexicon, Martin, Soundcraft, and Studer will install its premier equipment at TSM facilities for students to get a hands-on experience as well as deploy its engineers to train them from time to time on new equipment.

Additionally, the course will also include an on the job learning experience where students will get an opportunity to join Harman Professional India team to visit key studios and Live shows. “We are also looking at introducing two new course modules with TSM- Broadcast Audio and Lighting in the coming days,” stated Nitin Chandy, co-founder of TSM. “Our association with Harman Professional India will only help us widen the scope of our students and with cutting edge technology the students are sure to gain great exposure that will be on par with international standards,” Chandy added.

Meanwhile, Prashant Govindan, Senior Director, Harman Professional India and Sri Lanka said, “We are proud to be associated with TSM who have contributed largely to the music industry and are in the process creating awareness among talented young artists about the wide scope in the music industry.”
