About the Band
Midriff Strain is a classic rock band featuring veterans from the Bangalore rock scene. The band came together during a chance encounter between guitarists, Ranjith and Srikanth. Between them they have several decades of guitar playing experience.
Midriff Strain is inspired by classic rock acts such as Dire Straits and Deep Purple. They have the progressive leanings of Rush and Pink Floyd and an enduring love for NWOBHM acts such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.
