J Balvin’s second studio album is the embodiment of the new urban movement emerging from the streets of Medellín (Colombia). J Balvin presents an album full of hits, with an array of genres that range from traditional reggaeton all the way to trap/hip-hop and pop. ENERGÍA includes hit records like GINZA & BOBO, two of Latin music’s most prominent records which have solidified the artist’s career and have transformed him into one of the most celebrated artists around the world.
ENERGÍA includes a collaboration with Pharrell Williams on the track “Safari”, a record that Williams also produced and also features Sky and Atlanta rapper BIA. The album also includes tracks with Daddy Yankee, Yandel and Fuego. ENERGÍA was also produced by Sky, Mosty, Jowan and DVLP, an American producer of Latin descent whom J Balvin works with for the first time. ENERGÍA also features a special performance by Juanes on the guitar on “No Hay Título”, a song written by J Balvin with highly acclaimed songwriter Poo Bear (Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Usher and more).
