21 year old Natalie’s life has been revolving around the Internet for the past two years, until she was offered to sing for Sonu Nigam’s Shree Ganesha. After receving over one million hits on You Tube, the Canadian-Italian singer will be performing at the A.R.Rahman concert in Nagpur and Banglore this May.
This is the first time A.R. Rahman will be touring India after winning at the Oscars, and Natalie Di Luccios is one among the several artists who will be performing with him . The global fame had to just sing two songs in two years to join Rahman’s tour wing. Aspring to be an Italian pop singer since childhood, Natalie Di Luccios has never looked back since she came to India.
How did the tour happen?
“I had sung a cover for Rahman’s song Kahin To..from Jaane Tu..Ya Jaane Na and put it up on YouTube. His management must have seen it and shown it to him,because they got in touch with me and asked me to sing at his show,” Natalie says. The young singer has also recorded songs Moments in Life for the film Chalo Dilli and Aadha Ishq..with Shreya Ghoshal for Band Baaja Baraat.
With a few acting projects lined up for Natalie as well, this looks like the perfect head start she needed.
