Simon Cowell has professed his love for choirs. He wants to find a real life ‘Glee’ on the US version of his television talent search show ‘The X Factor’. Could it result in another N’Sync or Spice Girls? Cowell certainly hopes so.
Simon Cowell, the music mogul and infamous former American Idol judge, is now on the judging panel of the US version of TV talent search show The X Factor. He has his hopes pinned on finding a group of girls or boys like the choir in popular musical television series Glee.Cowell is convinced we need another pop band like Destiny’s Child, Spice Girls or N’Sync.We presume he thinks it is the need of the hour because we have Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber everywhere we turn.
The upcoming series has on its judging panel Paula Abdul, L.A Reid and Cheryl Cole besides Simon Cowell. Cowell has revealed in an interview with Extra that he has already auditioned two potential winners. With Reid competing with him for the meanest judge title, The X Factor promises to be an interesting series.
